Armstrong County Launches New Emergency Notification System
Armstrong County Emergency Management is announcing a transition to a new mass notification system designed to enhance public safety and streamline emergency communications.
The County is now using WENS (Wireless Emergency Notification System) to provide timely alerts and critical information to residents during emergencies, severe weather events, road closures, and other important situations.
When you are signing up, be sure to select the two additional boxes - Armstrong County Emergency Alerts & Armstrong County Community Notices - to stay informed.
CodeRED or i-INFO will no longer be used. for Armstrong County, effective 10/1/2025.

The WENS system allows users to receive alerts via text message, phone call, or email, depending on their preference. It is FREE to register, and your information will remain confidential.
